About the Port Macquarie Classic Motorcycle Club

The friendly, social club for riders of any bike & brand as long as it's 30 or more years old and a classic in your eyes.

The Port Macquarie Classic Motorcycle Club is based on the Mid North Coast of NSW. It was founded in July 2011.

At the Port Macquarie Classic Motorcycle Club our members ride a wide range of veteran, vintage and classic motorcycles. These include such bikes such as British Ariel's & Matchless, Italian Ducatis, German BMW's, American Harley's and classics from the Japanese marques.

The aim of the PMCMC is to encourage persons with a common interest in the riding, restoration and preservation of classic motorcycles to get together and share their knowledge and experience in a friendly social environment.

Our club has relationships with other historic clubs and we participate in regional community events.

Primarily a social club, we encourage our members to come along to our meetings or ride days and get those classics back on the road where they belong. Our club is registered with the Roads and Maritime Services, N.S.W. as an historic club. This means that as a club member you can register your motorcycle as an historic vehicle.

While there are some restrictions on the use of historic vehicles, see our Club Constitution, many members take advantage of the low registration fees available and find that there are more than enough rides to take part in.

This gives you a low cost option of using your bike on club events, or club sanctioned events, without having to keep your bike on full registration. The use of bikes displaying historic plates is restricted and if you want to use your 30+ year old bike everyday then it will need to be on full registration.

We encourage prospective members to come along to our monthly meeting, held at the Settlers Inn, Hastings River Drive, Port Macquarie, 7pm on the second Tuesday of each month.
